6.     Saturday Sampler- Nov. 23^rd,  10am   This is a beginning sewing class.  We make one block each month on the 4^th Saturday.  Class costs $40.00 with a $2.00 monthly kit fee.

7.     Nov. 29^th The 12 Days of Christmas.  This is a series of kits that make fun and simple gifts.  Come in to see the fun things we have put together to help make your Christmas easier!

8.     Binding your Quilts  December 7^th, 10am How to cut, piece and sew a perfect binding.  Great information!

9.     Star of India   This is a class that teaches the specific techniques for making the Star of India.  Date to be announced.  Come sign up if you are interested in learning this fun and easier than it looks quilt!

It's Shop Hop Week!

Moda's "High Street" is in!

We have had so many new bolts of fabric come in. It's so exciting! We hope you can come see us and let us help you find the perfect fabric for your next project.

This line is one we can't stop drooling over. It's Moda's "High Street" line and we ordered nearly the whole line. It's delicious! It comes in gray, sage, clementine, pink, and yellow.

We have a new class to announce. Our darling Sherri Smith will be teaching us a bit better about the nine patch technique.

Fabric kits available for $62, which include the book "For the Love of Nine Patch."
You can purchase the book separately for $24.99 and bring your own fabrics or you have the option of purchasing fabric the day of the class at a 20% discount.

Shop Hop!

Shop Hop starts today!

All fabric is on sale for 25% off until Saturday at close.

We will also have extended business hours until 7pm Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. We will still close at 5pm on Saturday.

We have lots of new quilts for display, inspiration, and many have kits available. Plus, a lot of our display items are classes or clubs. Come check them all out! Lots of fun new items and tons of new lines of fabric.

 

Introducing the Monthly Fun and Done Class

We are eager to announce our newest project of the month. It is a class called Fun and Done. It will be on the 3rd Saturday of each month. The project will be something simple that can be finished by the end of class. 

This month's project is an Americana Patchwork Flag. 
Saturday, June 22nd from 9:00 - 12:00
Cost: $5.00 (includes class and pattern)

You may buy a kit or bring your own pre-cut materials. If materials aren't pre-cut, the project won't get done; which is no fun.
You'll need:
94 - 3 1/2" red squares (varied colors and tones are best)
84 - 3 1/2" cream/white squares (varied tones are best)
Bring your own sewing machine, extension cord, scissors, pins, thread and bobbins, and a tabletop iron and board.

This project can be finished in three hours. Since Kellie is the teacher and the quilter, she can make sure that any finished flags that are given to her that day will be quilted by the following Saturday. That way you can enjoy hanging your flag the entire month of July.

Summer School

"Crazy Eights" - Eight fat quarters make the quilt!

Date: June 20th and 27th from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

This is a beginning quilting class.  We will go over how to choose color, how to cut accurately, piece with precision and how to make it all work without stress. 

This project is a baby quilt or table top size.   

Cost $20.00 + supplies (eight fat quarters).

Home, Sweet Home

We love our little house we have here in American Fork. It is quaint, yet open and friendly. We have done some remodeling and freshened up a bit, and we love it! Come visit us and see for yourself how warm, inviting, friendly, and welcoming it is to shop with The Quiltmakers.
