Our Fall 2014 Class List is here!

All Classes cost $10 plus materials.  Clubs are priced individually.

Baby Bumper Bag:  This adorable and functional bag makes a wonderful baby shower gift or it can be used to organize other supplies wherever a pop of color is needed.    Taught by Kim Prows.  Wednesday, November 12^th 1pm or Wednesday, January 7^th 1pm.

Dresden Plates:  This class will teach a simple and fun method for making the classic and beautiful Dresden.  Taught by Sherri Smith.  Thursday, February 5^th 6pm

Baby Receiving Blanket:  Come learn how fast and fun it is to make this adorable baby blanket!  Taught by Sandy Baxter.  Tuesday, November 11^th 6pm or Tuesday, January 13^th 6pm.

Strip Minky Quilt:  This class is a fun and fast way to create a luscious, quilt as you go strip quilt.  Great for all those left over Minky scraps.  Taught by Kellie Magleby.  Wednesday, November 19^th 6pm.

Time for Aprons!   This class will teach a fun new apron just in time for all the holiday cooking!  Taught by Sherri Smith.  Thursday, November 6^th 6pm.

Young Women’s Personal Progress Organizer:  This class teaches how to make a really handy organizer for all the young women’s booklets and is a fun way to make sure they do not get misplaced!  Taught by Sherri Smith.  Thursday, January 15^th 6pm

Disappearing Blocks:  This class will teach some of the ways to recut and make new blocks out of traditional blocks.  Come learn these fun techniques!  Taught by Jenny Hanks.  Saturday, February 7^th 10am.

Beautiful Binding Essentials:  Learn how to make the perfect strait or bias binding using techniques for mitered corners, scallops and even machine binding.  Taught by Kelly Mower and Kellie Magleby.  Saturday December 6^th 10am.

Book of Mormon Quilt Club:  This is a fabulous and popular applique quilt depicting scenes from the Book of Mormon.  Sign up is $60 and includes pattern and 12 background fabrics.  Monthly classes cost $15 and includes the fabrics for one block’s pieces.  Taught by Paula.  Begins in January.

1800’s Club:  This is a club that uses reproduction fabrics and teaches new blocks each month from the 1800’s era.  $20 sign up fee and $15 a month.  Taught by Susanne Lawrence.  Begins in January.  Every 4^th Wednesday at 6pm.

Quiltsmart Club:  This club teaches the easy and accurate quiltsmart method.  Come learn a different pattern each class such as pumpkin seed, lonestar, etc.  Each class is $10 plus materials.  Taught by Kristi Askew.  Begins in January.  Every 4^th Saturday at 10am. 

Buggy Barn Club:  Come learn the fun Buggy Barn method with us.  We will teach fabric selection, organization skills and speed techniques.  $10.00 sign up fee, $10 per class plus materials.  Taught by Sandy Baxter.  Beginning in January.  Every 4^th Tuesday of the month 6pm.

Creative Grid Ruler Techniques Club:  This class teaches how to use the different Creative Grid Rulers.  These rulers are great tools used to create log cabins, hexagons, pineapple blocks, kaleidoscope, etc.  $10 sign up fee, $10 per class plus materials.  Different instructor each class.  To be held quarterly on the 1^st Wednesday of the month, beginning February4th, 6pm.

Applique Club:  This class will teach a different applique method each time such as turn needle, freezer paper method, machine applique, the Jina Kimball method, etc. so that you can become a pro and find the best method for different kinds of applique.  $20 sign up fee and $15 a month.  Price includes materials.  Different instructors each class.  Beginning in January.  Held on the 3^rd Saturday of the month at 10am.

Mini Quilt Club:  Mini quilts are a fun way to add color and interest to any area.  Come make a new quilt every month in either a bright or a country color way.  $30 sign up and $20 monthly fee.  Taught by Sherri Smith.  Beginning January.  Held on the 4^th Tuesday of the month.

Scrappy Quilt Club:  This class will teach different kinds of quilts such as the Bulleye, Tumbler and Buzzsaw.  This is a great way to pull from your stash to create beautiful and fun classic quilts.  Taught by Sandy Baxter and Jenny Hanks.  Beginning in January on the 3^rd Thursday of the month at 6pm.

Minky Strip Quilt

This class is the perfect class for using your scrap strips of minky to create a super snuggly "quilt-as-you-go" project. Strips need to be prepared ahead of time, so come in or call to get the details. 

Our February Fun and Done is Saturday the 22nd at 2pm.  It will be an Irish Chain table runner.  Taught by Susanne.  $5 plus materials

Saturday Sampler Block of the Month is Feb. 22nd from 10am-12pm  Taught by Sherri  $40 to sign up. Space still available.
